Some have been known to do the opposite, devouring entire planets, slicing through the fabric of spacetime, or using life as a fuel for their own desires.

Some theorize that Skulls form by highly energetic mega-events like quasars, where black holes billion of times larger than our Sun capture then emit energy capable of both spawning and eradicating life.
It’s possible the time dilation experienced near super-massive black holes have given Skulls near infinite spacetime to form while life in other galaxies takes millions of years.
